Introduction
Corrie van Rijn has worked in the clothes and textile industry for over 25 years. She has a passion for colour, abstract art, exotic cultures and simplicity of line, using simple block prints, fabric dyeing and painting, hand waxing her fabrics and using discharge techniques producing innovative contemporary clothes that are easy and exciting to wear. Her work draws inspiration from abstract modern art, the natural world and Oriental work wear, producing individual clothes that are timeless yet contemporary and wonderful to wear.

Due to the succes of her exhibition during the Christmas Show at Sladers Yard, Corrie van Rijn is now exhibiting her work there indefinately.
